This is a full-fledged "Made in Italy" history that began its journey to success in 1912 with the foundation of Poltrona Frau and continued with the introduction of the Cassina brand in 1927 and the Cappellini brand in 1946. Completed in 2005, the Poltrona Frau Group instantly became world leader in the sector of high-end furniture. The group brings together these three highly prominent brands (Poltrona Frau, Cassina and Cappellini) and three additional brands (Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, Gufram and Nemo Cassina Lighting), through which it completes its international offer of Italian-made furniture with high quality style, following the various trends of classic, modern and innovative. Over the years, this journey has seen the group’s brands understand, correctly interpret and often anticipate the evolution of contemporary living.

Italian elegance and uniqueness distinguish the group’s products, in particular the graceful, timeless designs of Poltrona Frau’s master artisans, who for almost 100 years have offered the sophisticated, handcrafted goods produced in Italy. Cassina contributed to the introduction of contemporary design furniture by skillfully combining the values of traditional Italian craftsmanship and industrial technologies. Cassina products are found in museums, cultural institutions and art galleries around the world, alongside the icons of design by Cappellini, which for thirty years has collaborated with top quality designers to create furnishings that splendidly fit in within homes as well as art museums’ permanent collections.

All these products convey the atmosphere, elegance and refinement of a “Made in Italy” leadership. These values are reflected in the history and charm that distinguish S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, icons of culture and tradition on the tables of international fine dining, which they’ve met during such renowned events as Milan’s Salone del Mobile 2014.
