The Audi Chef's Cup is an annual event created by Michelin star chef Norbert Niederkofler and partially sponsored by Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino. This year, its 9th edition, took place in the alpine region of Alta Badia (in Italy). Celebrity chefs, haute cuisine and skiing made for a week designed to highlight the unique ingredients of the region and the local producers’ craftsmanship.
Chefs showcased their talent both in the kitchen and on the slopes. On the 19th, the opening included a torchlight procession of chefs and an inaugural dinner.
The Acqua Panna/S.Pellegrino Chef's Ski Cup, a ski race between chefs was held on the 20th followed by a special, themed dinner.
On the 22nd of January the Acqua Panna/S.Pellegrino Showcooking took place at Parterre Pista Gran Risa in La Villa, Bozen, with chefs Adrian Quetglas (The Sad, Mosca, Russia), Filip Sajler (Perfect Catering, Prague, Czech Republic), Filippo La Mantia (La Mantia, Rome, Italy), Francesco Mazzei (L'Anima, London, United Kingdom), Jefferson Rueda (Attimo, San Paulo, Brazil), Odrej Slanina (Hotel Chateau St.Havel, Prague, Czech Republic), Tomaz Kavcic (Pri Lojzetu, Vipava, Slovenia) and Wout Bru (Chez Bru, Eygalières, France) juggling the pans.
The agenda was packed with cooking classes, cooking shows, dinners and exciting sports events with chefs participating from all over the world.
