S.Pellegrino Essenza wins Beverage Digest Award 2020

Each year, the Beverage Digest Awards celebrate excellence across the North American beverage industry. The winners of the 2020 contest were announced at this year's Future Smarts virtual conference on December 7, and S.Pellegrino was delighted to be among them.

S.Pellegrino Essenza Blood Orange & Black Raspberry was awarded the coveted prize in the Best Low/No Sugar Drink category.

The judges described this flavored sparkling mineral water drink, which was introduced to the North American market in 2019, as a "strong line extension for Essenza", commenting positively on its "unique flavor combination".

Indeed, the gentle bubbles of S.Pellegrino Essenza Blood Orange & Black Raspberry reveal delicate elements of red fruits mellowed by notes of sweet citrus, making it refreshing to drink on its own and ideal for pairing with full and complex flavored foods, from red meats to pizza and rich pasta dishes.

The same awards ceremony also brought recognition for the Sanpellegrino Italian Sparkling Drinks Mixers range, which picked up the award for Best Brand Extension.
