The 2013 edition of the S.Pellegrino Italian Talents project celebrates Pavarotti—the great tenor who epitomized Italian opera—with a limited edition bottle and a series of events dedicated to the Maestro.
The launch in New York on 16th April will feature an installation that offers a preview of the amazing AMO Pavarotti exhibition, which will be held in the temple of international opera—the Opera Museum in Verona, Italy. The installation is on display at 82 Mercer in Manhattan for three days and can be viewed by invitation only. Both exhibitions, in New York and in Italy, were organized by the tenor’s wife Nicoletta Mantovani and the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation.
Visitors will be able to admire video screenings, photographs and objects that belonged to the Maestro as well as listen to recordings of classic arias and his famed forays into the world of pop music. A young soprano and a young tenor from the Foundation will sing live for the occasion. On the opening, evening guests will enjoy an exclusive dinner organized by the Fini family, owners of the restaurant in Modena where Luciano Pavarotti loved to eat.
After the event in New York, the great Pavarotti exhibition at Verona’s AMO will open its doors to the public on 23rd April. S.Pellegrino has also organized other opera initiatives to showcase talented young singers in the world’s finest theatres throughout the year. The first shows will be held at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.
The S.Pellegrino Italian Talents project has been celebrating Italian talents around the world for three years with dedicated events and special edition bottles. Millions of these bottles are produced and will be served at the tables of the world’s finest restaurants for a limited period only.
