#50BestTalks at The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2017

A selection of the world’s top chefs gathered together in Sydney and Melbourne for two evenings of lively debate and discussion for #50BestTalks, sponsored by S.Pellegrino® and Acqua Panna® and part of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2017.
#50BestTalks was an opportunity for food lovers to gain a rare insight into the world’s best restaurants and hear from leading chefs on what drives them and gives them that extra edge.
On Saturday, April 1, #50BestTalks Sydney, which was held at the city’s iconic Opera House in front of an eager audience of close to 2,500 people, featured Massimo Bottura, Dominique Crenn, Peter Gilmore and Brett Graham.
Themes ranged from mentorship to how to find your own style, to sustainability and how to transform ingredients. S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 winner, Mitch Lienhard was in the crowd and took the opportunity to share his inspirational story, both of creating his winning dish and working with his mentor, Dominique Crenn. On Monday, April 3, a crowd of around 2,000 people gathered into Margaret Court Arena to watch #50BestTalks Melbourne with Grant Achatz, Daniel Humm, Will Guidara, Gaggan Anand and Jordi Roca.
