S.Pellegrino is proud to announce its partnership in the 2014 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards, which are also sponsored by Acqua Panna. This prestigious award is part of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, also known as the Oscars of gastronomy.
Recognizing the vast diversity of food in the region, the shining stars of Asian cuisine will be honoured during a special awards ceremony held on February 24th at the Capella Hotel in Singapore. S.Pellegrino is also the proud sponsor of the Individual Country Winners that will be announced during the awards ceremony as well and that honour the highest ranking restaurants from different countries.
Ahead of the big name, two awards have been given out:
Chef Ivan Li, from Family Li Imperial Cuisine restaurant in Shanghai, has been named as the recipient of the 2014 Diners Club Lifetime Achievement Award.
Chef Lanshu Chen who works at the Le Moût Restaurant in Taiwan has been picked as Asia's Best Female Chef.
Last year’s top restaurant was Narisawa in Tokyo. Run by acclaimed chef Yoshihiro Narisawa, the restaurant features French cooking techniques with traditional Japanese ingredients.
