The list is nearly complete and world gastronomy is gearing up for the announcement of the winners of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants , sponsored by S. PELLEGRINO and ACQUA PANNA . The complete list will be presented on March 27 at the Wynn Palace Cotai in Macau and the event will be broadcast live-streaming on Fine Dining Lovers at 14:45 CEST (20:45 local time) .
It will be the first time that the award ceremony has been held in Macau, highlighting the growing importance of Macau's food culture and how vibrant its culinary scene is. Asia's 50 Best Restaurants was previously held three years in Singapore and two years in Bangkok.

In 2017, the annual list listed 12 different countries represented, including 10 new additions in total, and Gaggan Anand , chef at Gaggan in Bangkok, achieved a record by being named Best Restaurant in Asia for the third year in a row. Ya han sido anunciados algunos premios especiales. Entre los destinatarios está Bongkoch "Bee" Satongun, chef del restaurante Paste de Bangkok, que ha sido nombrada Asia’s Best Female Chef 2018. Chef autodidacta, Satongun es conocida por su talento creativo y la innovación que aporta a la cocina tradicional tailandesa.
André Chiang del Rawen de Taipei y del Restaurant André de Singapur, ha sido galardonado por su contribución al mundo de la cocina con el Diners Club® Lifetime Achievement Award 2018, reconociendo su pasión, dedicación y talento que han llevado a Asia al mapa culinario mundial.
El Miele One to Watch Award ha sido otorgado a Toyo Eatery de Manila. Un restaurante llevado por Jordy Navarra, que ha sido reconocido por su enfoque progresivo y moderno a la cocina filipina local.
Los destinatarios recogerán sus premios personalmente el 27 de marzo, durante la sexta ceremonia anual de Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants.

El día antes de Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018 tendrá lugar #50BestTalks: Explorando la Identidad, donde los mejores chefs de Asia se reunirán para una media jornada de debates, inspiraciones, presentaciones y entrevistas, centrados en el tema de la 'identidad' en la gastronomía asiática.
Keynote speakers will include: André Chiang , Hiroe Higuchi from Shima Kanko , Japan, Vijay Mudaliar from Native from Singapore, Richie Lin , Kai Ward and Long Xiong from Mume from Taipei.
