Identità Golose is the most important international chef congress in Italy. As its main partner for many years, S.Pellegrino is proud to be involved in this year's delayed edition. Entitled Identità Golose On The Road, it has been transformed into a unique digital event, in view of the challenges of Covid-19.
The event will last from 16 November right through to 31 January 2021, and will feature a vast array of online masterclasses and interviews with renowned Italian chefs: globally recognised names like Massimo Bottura, winner of The World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2016 and 2018 with Osteria Francescana in Modena, and Riccardo Camanini, who picked up the Miele One To Watch award at The World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2019 with his restaurant on Lake Garda, Lido 84. As well as recipes and techniques, the protagonists will share valued inspirations and new perspectives, around the theme of Building a New Future.
It is precisely the desire to help chefs build a new future that led S.Pellegrino to launch the #SupportRestaurants movement, and Identità Golose On The Road will provide the opportunity to present another major initiative born of that same desire. Created to nurture the next generation of visionary chefs, the S.Pellegrino Young Chef Academy will be an inspiring community, where youth meets experience and talent knows no boundaries.
Also present at Identità Golose On The Road will be the team from The World's 50 Best with an update on how the 50 Best for Recovery Fund is using the money raised to support various organisations in the sector. Some of them will also be taking part in the event, like Ambasciatori del Gusto, a non-profit association led by chef Cristina Bowerman that is doing great work to help chefs in a variety of ways.
Find out what S.Pellegrino is doing to help restaurants get through the current crisis and rebuild the industry under the #SupportRestaurants banner.
