The National Grape Harvest Festival - Mendoza City (Argentina)
running until 8th March
The Grape Harvest Festival in Mendoza City has a long-consolidated tradition: the first official edition dates back to 1936, but the earliest celebrations apparently took place in the XXVII century. As well as being one of the most important harvest festivals in the world, that of Mendoza City is a great festive occasion involving everyone, owing to the presence of hundreds of dancers, performers and a firework display beyond compare.

Karl Lagerfeld, a visual journey, at the Pinacothèque de Paris
running until 20th March
A fashion designer of legendary fame, Karl Lagerfeld is also an acclaimed photographer, so much so that he signed the images for the famous Pirelli Calendar in 2011. The exposition being put on at the Pinacothèque de Paris displays shots that testify to Lagerfeld’s versatility: from self-portraits to screen prints of landscapes; from photos taken specifically for the fashion industry and others inspired by Paris.

Boulder International Film Festival - Colorado USA

All set for its twelfth edition, the BIFF is a date to save for cinema enthusiasts, but is sure to interest a much wider public as well. At Boulder, in Colorado, great names of the film industry from all over the world gather to take part in events whose star features include international celebrity chefs and music performances.

Byron Bay Bluefest - Australia
24th - 28th March
7 stages, over 200 performances, non-stop music for around 12 hours a day. These are just some of the numbers enabling you to envisage the Byron Bay Festival experience, one of the world’s top Blues festivals which has won numerous awards and, in the course of the years, has welcomed such artists as Bob Dylan, James Brown, Hozier and many others.

Equinox at Chichen Itza - Mexico

The spring equinox is certainly a magical moment in which to visit one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites. The Chichen Itza pyramid, in fact, is animated at dusk by a play of light and shade and the stone serpent decorating the northern stairway seems to gleam and spring to life.

Macy’s Flower Show - USA

Every spring, for two weeks, it is possible to enjoy a unique sight in various cities of the USA: Macy’s transforms its premises into authentic scent-filled gardens with artistic installations created with flowers from all over the world. In each city involved, the Flower Shows will be accompanied by seminars and events focused on everything to do with flowers, live music, city tours and many other activities.
