Following months of planning, this past weekend saw S.Pellegrino’s first ever exclusive pop-up event take place in the heart of London at Potters Fields Park.
With the weather gods smiling down on us we opened the doors to S.Pellegrino’s Live In Italian, Live From London restaurant on Friday. Working closely with top London chefs; Theo Randall of Theo Randall at the Inter Continental, Phil Howard of The Square and Chris Denney of Four to Eight as well as the Italian Supper Club, S.Pellegrino was able to bring the taste of Italy to the banks of the river Thames.
During the two days visitors were treated to delicious Michelin Starred food whilst marvelling at unparalleled views of the iconic Tower Bridge.
Chris Denney began the show with the UK and Ireland’s S.Pellegrino Young Chef and global champion, Mark Moriarty, by his side. The lunch service gave individuals a chance to enjoy three dishes including Deep-fried courgette flowers, braised neck of lamb and Cornish crab. With live cooking demonstrations and refreshing S.Pellegrino on hand, there was no better place to enjoy the beginning of the London summer.
The evening saw the space transform from an Italian alfresco piazza into a fine dining restaurant where guests enjoyed an intimate and up-close experience with Theo Randall and Phil Howard. Beautiful dishes included Hand cut strozzapreti with pulled rabbit and Roasted guineafowl stuffed with Prosciutto di Parma, thyme, mascarpone and English peas. Each dish was carefully paired with beautiful Italian wines thanks to Vini Italiani.
S.Pellegrino’s Live In Italian Live From London was a great success thanks to Theo Randall, Phil Howard, Chris Denney and the Italian Supper Club.
