Green Chinotto
Green Chinotto mocktail with Sanpellegrino Chinotto.
The legendary Sanpellegrino Chinotto makes for an exciting base for the Green Chinotto mocktail that is the perfect equilibrium of bitter, sour, herbal and sweet. This is a sophisticated non-alcoholic cocktail that will satisfy even the most demanding taste buds.
HOW TO
Sanpellegrino Chinotto, the drink with a cult following that was founded in the ‘50s, is the star of the show in the Green Chinotto soft drink cocktail. The unique flavours of quality sun-ripened chinotto oranges from southern Italy blend in beautiful harmony with sour lime and the herbal notes of sage and mint. Those who are tired of oversweet cocktails will be delighted with this concoction that will add the extra spice to any kind of day. Try it with a cipollina Catanese or a farinata and bring the Italian sunshine to the party.
METHOD
Fill a large, sturdy glass (40 cl capacity) with all the syrup and juice. Stir gently with a bar spoon to combine well. Fill glass with ice and top up with Sanpellegrino Chinotto. Garnish with a lime segment and fresh mint.
If you are 18 years old or over you can turn the Green Chinotto into an alcoholic drink by adding 1 oz/3 cl of bourbon whiskey.
