Our double dining events were ‘bellissimi’

Guests escape to Italy for our latest Itineraries of Taste events

For five mouth-watering weeks, from 17^th July to 21^st August, the stunning roof terraces at Harvey Nichols in London and Edinburgh were transformed into lively Italian piazzas. This inspirational culinary event, Tastefully Italian, was the latest in the S.Pellegrino Itineraries of Taste series, dedicated to exploring the very finest in food, style and design across the world.

Visitors indulged in delicious daily menus and a selection of tempting cocktails, infused with the flavours of the Mediterranean. But the jewels in the gourmet crown were undoubtedly the exclusive, ticket-only, Tuesday evening banquets. Through innovative, Italian-inspired dishes, five of the UK’s most critically acclaimed chefs took guests on a gastronomic journey of discovery, putting their own unique stamp on classic Italian cuisine. Bellissimo!

Diners enjoy the height of good taste at our Italian banquets

As soon as guests at our ‘Tastefully Italian’ banquets stepped out of the lifts on the Fifth Floor of Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge and the Fourth Floor restaurant in Edinburgh’s Harvey Nichols, they walked straight into Italian foodie heaven.

And what a world of delicious flavours awaited them. From the expertly mixed S.Pellegrino cocktails like Gin Fizz de Pamelo, to a selection of culinary delights, meticulously devised by Michelin star chefs, Claude Bosi, Chris Denney, Lee Westcott, Marianne Lumb and Elizabeth Allen. 

There were gems such as Raviolo of spinach, rocket and Piedmontese ricotta. Crispy fish skin, smoked cod, oyster and paprika with pig’s head and smoked apple. Honeymoon melon with macadamia nut ice cream and raspberries. Naturally, each dish was accompanied by a flight of wine that perfectly matched its flavours. While complimentary bottles of sparkling S.Pellegrino water cleansed the palate and enhanced the effervescent al fresco ambience.
