The crown of the 2014 Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants List, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, has been assigned to Virgilio Martinez' Central restaurant based in Lima, Peru.
The exclusive ceremony was filled with some of the world's best chefs, gastronomic journalists and culinary royalty in Lima for this year’s announcement.
Chef Martinez confessed that he never expected such a big success: “We were meant to be a small restaurant and now it’s a restaurant that’s making some noise.”
