S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna have been official supporters of ALMA, the International School of Italian Cuisine, since its opening in 2004. Our brands chose ALMA as the most authoritative teaching centre for Italian cuisine on a national and international level. The headquarters are in the beautiful Reggia di Colorno in Parma, Italy, located in the middle of a region with a long culinary history.
The rector is Gualtiero Marchesi, a master of Italian Cuisine and an icon of our culture of fine dining. The school has avant-garde equipment and collaborates with prestigious foreign schools. Young chefs, bakers and sommeliers from all over the world become professionals in their fields after going through a study programme created by the best teachers in our country. S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna also support ALMAVIVA, the annual event during which ALMA celebrates Italian Cuisine with conventions, demonstrations and cultural and culinary events, involving chefs, teachers, students, journalists, institutions and businesses that support its activities in Italy and throughout the world. In addition, S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna create sessions of the so-called ALMA ACADEMY, specific courses dedicated to their international community.
