The Association de la Sommellerie Internationale, which promotes the Best Sommelier of the World Award, was set up in Riems, France in 1969. The goal of the organisation is to unite professional sommelier standards in the 40 member countries. S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna partner with the ASI in promoting excellence and creating real opportunities for growth for professional sommeliers.
