After the big success of the first edition, the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 is going to start again.
S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 is looking for the best young chef in the world with a unique event: an international competition that highlights the engagement of S.Pellegrino toward young talents and counts on the collaboration with experienced mentors and on a stellar final jury.
Through the course of the second edition of S.Pellegrino Young Chef, the international jury – the panel of the Seven Sages – will be formed by some of the most popular chefs of the world.
The Seven Sages that will choose the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 will be no less than David Higgs, Carlo Cracco, Gaggan Anand, Mauro Colagreco, Wylie Dufresne, Elena Arzak, and Roberta Sudbrack.
From the 1st January 2016 on, the subscriptions for the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 will open on finedininglovers.com to all the chefs, sous chefs and chefs de partie under 30 from all over the world, that will be taken into consideration for the occasion through 20 different geographical areas.
The journey of the international competition will continue through various selections made by ALMA, the renowned International School of Italian Cuisine, and through 20 local events where the single juries will select a finalist for every geographical area.
The 20 finalists will then challenge each other during the Grand Finale that will take place on the 13th of October in Milano: in this occasion the Seven Sages will crown the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016.
During the whole course of the subscriptions, Mark Moriarty, winner of the past edition, will share his experience with the candidates through a series of video-tips on finedininglovers.com.
