The Roca brothers with their restaurant El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Spain, picked up the top prize in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants List 2013, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna. They scooped both the S.Pellegrino World's Best Restaurant award and Acqua Panna Best Restaurant in Europe prize.
René Redzepi of Noma, Copenhagen, was second, followed by Massimo Bottura with his Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy.
The Awards Ceremony, held in the London’s Guildhall, was streamed online, allowing people from all over the world had the opportunity to follow the event via FineDiningLovers, the fine dining magazine by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna.
