Sanpellegrino has chosen to celebrate the unique Italian taste and creativity of Sanpellegrino Italian Sparkling Drinks through an artistic initiative involving 24 students and alumni of the European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan.
As global ambassadors of Italian craftsmanship, quality and creativity since 1932, the brand chose to support young artists by inviting them to draw inspiration from the brand's iconic products and express their creativity through photography, illustration, or graphic design.
This inspiring opportunity for creative young people resulted in a digital exhibition on the brand’s social media channels as well as an open-air digital poster display in the centre of Milan. In these exhibitions, the unique taste of Sanpellegrino Italian Sparkling Drinks and Italian aesthetic sensibility come together in some surprising new creations.
As part of the brand's commitment to supporting talent, the initiative included an official award for the young artist whose work best represented the creative spirit and unique Italian taste of Sanpellegrino Italian Sparkling Drinks.
The prize - consisting of a scholarship, awarded by a panel consisting of the CEO of the Sanpellegrino Group Stefano Marini, creative direction from YAM112003 agency, and creative direction from IED - was won by young artist Andrea Vago. In the view of the judges, Andrea's work represented the perfect mix of all the ingredients that make up the creative flair of Sanpellegrino Italian Sparkling Drinks.
