The 14th edition of the spectacular S.Pellegrino Cooking Cup has just come to an end. The extraordinary regatta, organised in collaboration with the historic Venetian yacht club Compagnia della Vela, saw 41 boats competing from the Lido of Venice to the Island of San Giorgio.
The rising star of this year’s event was chef Sergey Berezutskiy - winner of the Acqua Panna & S.Pellegrino Young Chef of the Year 2014 Award. He caught the eye of the jury during two key moments. Firstly, with his signature dish of Mackerel with watermelon, crispy beetroot “risotto” and the chechil cheese. Then during the regatta, he brought aboard the Timoteo boat langoustines with artichokes smoked in birch bark with zucchini and tomatoes.
