Ah, bella Italia. Wish you were there? Well, wish no longer. Let S.Pellegrino whisk you away on a regional taste tour with Postcards From Italy – a series of intimate dinners  hosted at exclusive London venues. And you are cordially invited to attend.

This exclusive series is the brainchild of S.Pellegrino and our ‘partners in dine’, the Italian Supper Club. Founders Silvio Peazzana and Toto Dell’Aringa are passionate about all things Italian – from seasonal regional produce to small, family-run vineyards – and this passion shines through in their carefully created menus, as bright as the winter Mediterranean sun.

1st DINNER : MILANO, VENEZIA, MAGNIFICO!

First stop is Italy’s fashion capital, famed for its cassoeula. A rich winter stew, it’s cooked low and slow like its French cassoulet counterpart, creating a real rib-stickingly satisfying dish. Your culinary adventure continues, gathering up some of the region’s finest cheeses and cured meats –  like Gorgonzola, Taleggio and Sopressa Salami – before arriving at Veneto, renowned for its fresh-off-the-boat fish.

Of course, fine dining deserves fine wine. So each course will be paired with some of the area’s most exciting tipples. From sparkling Prosecco and Franciacorta to secret lesser-known stars, as the wine flows, so will the conversation. And, to make sure the company’s sparkling, there’s plenty of S.Pellegrino to go around.

NEXT STOP – 2^nd DINNER: LAZIO

The second dinner in our series takes in la cucina of Lazio, with its rich, delicious and varied flavours. Get ready for dishes with unexpected ingredient combinations, like abbacchio and carciofi – lamb and artichoke, seasoned with anchovies. And then there are the countless pasta dishes. Pecorino and mint, amatriciana and carbonara all originated in this beautiful region.

And to drink? Well, like the food, you’re in for a treat. Lazio's wines have been for far too long underrated, but all this will change as you complement your food with some glorious Trebbiano, Orvieto and Malvasia.
